Performance at the opening of Resonant Spaces exhibition at the Kunstraum Potsdamer Straße

In sound performance “Cruising Ship”, Alexey  reproduces the sounds of mating nightingales using voice and electronics. By blending electronic voice loops, backing tracks, vocal riffs, melodies, and original lyrics an immersive soundscape emerges. In performance Alexey explores the idea of queer cruising as a strategy of claiming and inhabiting spaces. How does sexual desire shape and reshape an environment? Cruising Ship is dedicated to LGBT+ people who face discrimination in the world today.
